These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Speed Test ("Pulse") Android application published by Fillorin ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Pulse, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Pulse is a free network diagnostics utility that measures download speed, upload speed, and ping/latency, and provides a set of network tools (ping, traceroute, port scanner, DNS lookup, Wi-Fi details, and similar). Pulse requires no account and stores test history only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details on the limited data involved in running a test.
Pulse includes network tools such as Port Scanner, Network Scanner, Device Discovery, Ping, and Traceroute that send traffic to hosts, ports, or subnets you specify. You agree to use these tools only against:
You agree not to use Pulse to scan, probe, or send traffic to third-party systems without authorization, to disrupt or overload any network or server, or for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws and network policies that apply to you (including your ISP's or employer's acceptable-use policy) when using these tools.
Speed tests and diagnostics run against public infrastructure operated by third parties — including LibreSpeed community servers, Cloudflare, ipapi.co, and public DNS/whois services — as described in our Privacy Policy. Fillorin does not operate these servers, does not guarantee their availability or accuracy, and is not responsible for their content, uptime, or individual terms of use.
Pulse measures real network throughput to the best available test server at the time of the test. Results can vary based on your device, Wi-Fi/cellular conditions, the chosen server, and general internet conditions, and are provided for informational purposes only. Pulse results are not a guarantee of the speed provided by your internet service provider.
The Pulse app, its design, and its branding are owned by Fillorin. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app except as permitted by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Pulse is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that test results will be perfectly accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fillorin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Pulse — including damages resulting from use of the network diagnostic tools against unauthorized targets, or reliance on speed test results.
We may update Pulse and these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we'll revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using Pulse at any time by uninstalling the app. We may discontinue or modify the app or any of its features at our discretion.
